Comments: Here's the deal: want foot support, durability, and a shoe that will protect your foot, ankles and knee?  buy this shoe.  The only drawback is the weight.  It's about 5 ounces heavier than most other shoes.  Hummer vs Corolla.  Take your pick.

Comments: I'm on my fourth pair of these shoes.  All but one pair lasted six-eight months of 3X per week play, 6-8 games per session.  The insole of one pair wore out in about 4 months.  They're very comfortable but a bit heavier than most other shoes.  Great grip and fit.  They definitely run a bit small.  Order them 1/2 size larger than your regular size and you'll be fine.

Comments: Looked for mid-shoe after the Prince Viper Mid NFS was discontinued. The Ektelon T22 broke in well, is light and comfortable. Zero foot/knee discomfort after 2 hrs of tennis, x 4 outings. Feels less substantial than the Prince Viper; like driving a Japanese car (light, flexible) after driving a German car (heavier, more rigid). My shoe size is 11.25, wide; I wore Prince Viper in 12 which was just slightly too big; this Ektelon T22 in size 12 is perfect (i.e. buy 0.5 - 0.75 size larger). I don't know how this shoe will wear over time; I'm 5'11" 230lbs playing 3x week, and torque quickly. I don't know how this shoe differs from the Prince mid-T22, but it looks identical, & the sole on this Ektelon reads "Prince." I did not experience any of the problems players reported with the Prince T22; i.e. the silver plastic straps constricting & hurting their forefeet. Am putting in an order for a second Ektelon pair now. Finally, as a general rule, buy a shoe for every day you play each week and rotate them. I play 3x/wk and rotate 3 shoes. It lets them air out fully, and if you are transitioning from one shoe to a new one, it moderates that break-in process so your feet don't freak out.

Comments: Very durable. Lots of support due to all the cushioning and padding.  All that support and durability comes at the cost of weight.  Not light shoes....

Comments: It is the most comfortable shoe I have ever tried on in my life.  It literally feels like you are walking on air.  Tons of padding, good breathability, and good grip.  You will notice you’re about a ½ inch taller with the shoes because of the amount of padding in the sole of the shoe.  I'm contemplating buying another pair to wear as regular everyday shoes because of how ridiculously comfortable they are.
