Gearbox MAX2 165T Neon Green Racquet

Comments: I think the swing weights are all over the place with the MAX2 racquets.  I have the MAX1 green and orange and now the  MAX2 green and orange and the weight of all 4 are within 4 grams and the swing weight 131 - 133.  I have a friend with the orange 165 and his swing weight sticker is 150.  Strange stuff.  That said, I like the new racquets, but ask what the swing weight sticker is when you order

Comments: This is a great racquet but I preferred the 165Q over the 165T. The T and the Q are VERY similar but I seemed to hit everything a little more solid with the Q. "see my review on the GB MX2 165Q"

Comments: There is a difference in weighting between the Max1 and Max2 though the head weight is not bad at all, it really does help with back of court shots.  The Max2 has additional power to the Max1 while still keeping the consistency of shots.  I was worried about front court play with the added head weight, though it really has not seemed to be a problem.  All in all it is a great racquet, though there is going to be an adjustment period from the Max1 to the Max2.  Though I am prefering the Max2 over the Max1 all in all.

Comments: You can for sure tell the difference from the max 1 to the max 2 as far as the weight and the balance.  It does have a little bit stiffer frame, but hits harder and is for sure more head heavy.  It hits great, but am still breaking it in so might do a follow up review after a few weeks
[Update 7/14] The max 2 is too head heavy now for my liking.  I'm going to have it rebalanced to the same specs as the max 1.  Everything i was hitting was going to the ground.
