HEAD Graphene Radical 160 RB Racquet
Comments: I normally play the Gearbox 165Q. I like the quad design as opposed to the teardrop. However, this racquet feels like a quad. It was solid. My arm [did] hurt the next day but that is to be expected when breaking in a different weight racquet. I played the Radical 170 and 180 and all three are great racquets. I will be ordering my 160 this week.
Comments: I've found the Graphene Radical 160 to be a racquet of solid power and fine control. I've installed a set of matching lime green Python grips for that nice custom look. I also have and use the Graphene Radical 180, but I keep coming back to the 160 as my go-to racquet. Ultra stiff and perfectly balanced, I could not recommend it more highly.
Comments: Extremely light!! Could barely feel it in my hand, as far as maneuverability this raquet is topps!! What I didn't like was having a dead arm the next day. As if I received 50 birthday punches by pro boxers. Never had pain in my biceps before. It did hit the ball well, but I had to put my all into almost every swing. Maybe some lead tape would have helped
Comments: I just demo'd this racquet and it's very nice however, it didn't surpass my GB MAX1 165T performance. I'll stick with GB for now, but I'll keep trying demos.
Comments: I like the balance and power of this racquet but its not quite good enough to displace my GB MX1 165T. When both racquets are fully dressed (grommets, tether, grip, strings, dampner) I found that the Head 160 and the GB 165 are pretty much identical in weight and my GB 165 packs a bit more punch, at least in my opinion.
Comments: Amazing racquet... very well balanced, and feels longer than a normal racquet. Seems to have a lot more natural "pop" than most 160 gram racquets that I have ever played. Just got this one last night, then went and played 5 games last night with it. Gives you an awesome feeling of confidence. Going to buy another today as my tournament back up! Fantastic racquet, period. FYI, this is the first racquet review that I have ever felt strongly enough about to actually give a review :)
Comments: This is an amazing racquet, is perfect balanced, the power is amazing and my game has definitely improved big time with this racquet. Two thumbs up to Head for this nice product. Definitely recommend it. I also recommend upgrading your grip for a better feel. I use the python and it gets the job done.
Comments: This racquet surprised me. I typically don't like a racquet lighter than 170 grams, but this 160 gram fly swatter can absolutely crush the ball. Mass x Acceleration = Force, so it worried me that this racquet would not have enough mass @ 160 grams to produce suitable power, without an unrealistic superhero swing speed. No worries...this racquet hits the ball harder than any racquet I have played. I have a fast but not blazing fast "Sudsy Monchik" swing, and this racquet consistently launches missles for me. Ceiling balls and control also improved without effort, possibly because of the maneuverability. Another plus is the factory string is high quality and tight. After a few games the multifilament string soften just enough and yields, in my opinion, a perfectly strung racquet. This saves time and money from not having to cut out and restring a brand new racquet. I can't say enough good things about this one.
Comments: I picked this stick up a couple of weeks ago, after demo'ing from RbW. I fell in love the second i played the first game. I usually prefer 175-185, for a more solid and less jarring feel, but this one plays smooth. Swapped over to this from the numerous Ektelons I've played with. Very light, forgiving, and plays perfectly for me. I did replace the Head wrap grip on the stick I bought, because it unraveled not even 5 minutes after my first game, but RbW took care of it with their awesome customer service! You should definitely demo this monster.
Comments: This racquet has the same great feel as the Black Widow (which is what I switched from). The quality seems better already! I will be continuing with HEAD in the future. Great job guys, and looking forward to getting my back up as well. I will say that I tend to prefer the tacki mac serrated grip better than this wrap grip.
