Comments: Very nice racquet....Just finished playing with this racquet and I enjoyed the power and the balance. I will purchase another one as a back up...
Comments: I echo what other reviewers have said about this racquet. It provides great control and good snap on the ball! After others have said they've broken this racquet, I looked for any severe damage to the demo racquet I received. None was noticeable, and the racquet held up quite well to three intense games of doubles and one single match. Granted that's not a lot of play testing for the racquet, but it did hold up well. If I hadn't tried the E-force Invasion X 170 first, this Lethal racquet would be my next purchase. However, if the price of the Invasion causes a heart attack ($200+ at the time of this review), this racquet is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!
Comments: This is a really good racquet but I've broken 4 of them so far and I don't hit walls or other peoples racquets. The last one I had to get warrantied just after a month of playing. Now I'm looking for another racquet because this one just doesn't hold up.
Comments: I like this racquet a lot...great power, good balance, plenty of control. BUT, I've broken 4 of them in two years...3 on the corners of the head, and one at the neck...all from hitting the ball (no wall or floor). Love the racquet, but not sure what to do about this...
Comments: As Tanner says, this racquet is indeed the best out there for the money. In fact, I personally feel it plays better than the command series... when properly strung. I had been stringing this stick in the mid to high 30's and while it played good, it played GREAT at 28 lbs with Oxygen 17!! I've been very skeptical to go that low with tension, but since doing so, I've never hit the ball harder, and the control is oddly better than when it was tighter. That said, I would highly recommend this stick!!
Comments: Great racquet, hits a ton. Best racquet for the money. you will not find a better racquet for the price. So if you are looking for a great racquet for a great price try this racquet you will love it!!
Comments: Racquet has good power and is very light, but strings broke on it 2nd time I used it.
Comments: FANTABULOUS racquet! (Yes, FANTABULOUS is a made up word, but I like it anyway!)
Comments: I love the racquet. It's the best I ever owned for power & control. The swing weight & sweet spot are really good for me. Also it's well balanced. I changed the grip to a taki mac which really enhanced the grip for more control. They did a great job on this racquet, bravo.
Comments: I am coming off the Ektelon Speedport Red, which I found to be underpowered. I like the NxtGen. It does tend towards power over control. However, with more power, you don't need to hit the ball as hard; which paradoxically, can lead to more control. I see this racquet as an intermediate level racquet, for those players who struggle with both power and control.
Comments: Was able to demo this racquet. This is a great PURE POWER racquet. I had trouble putting the ball in the same place twice, therefore I was not impressed with the control on it. Vibration is barely noticeable, which really impressed me. If control is not a big deal to you, definitely check this out.
Comments: I bought this racquet yesterday and I just loved it's performance from the first rally. Wow you can hit shots that you can't even think you can hit with other racquets. Worth the price.
Comments: This is the "Perfect Racquet." I do not think a better racquet can be made. All the below comments by other users posted here are true. Although I didn't buy it from this site, I wanted to post this here in true ave for this racquet. I used to wonder how the other guys could hit the backhand so steadily but now I can too, they all used E-Force. I have a Wilson nCode; the Wilson was good too but is no longer for me. One word for the E-Force NXT Gen Racquet: "Impeccable."
Comments: I've been playing with E force racquets now for over 5 years. In that time, I have always thought your racquets to be well designed for power. As a racquet stringer and player, I find the E Force Lethal NXT Gen 170 to be the best in power and control and also the best racquet in eliminating vibration. With your company continously upgrading your racquets, it only makes players like me to become better players. I definetly know I have become a more potent player since I have been using the Lethal NXT Gen 170. Keep up the good work and great design. I don't think I'll ever pick up another manufacturer's racquet. I love the NXT Lethal and plan to pick up another one very shortly. I've gotten other friends' to try the Lethal NXT and they have already decided to buy them. Thanks again for a super racquet.
Comments: I had a chance to demo the Dagger and Lethal for a week and by the 3rd day I just put the Dagger away and worked with the 175 and 170 Lethal. There was such a difference in the way they handled and the feel when the ball was hit. I had a chance to try the Wilson K Tour for a week also, and just have never found anything that felt so good, and was so easy to hit as either the 170 or 175 Lethal. I'm a solid B player, so there is plenty of room for improvement, and I know that the Lethal will help me to improve my game. I have always believed, buy the best equipment you can afford and you will never regret it.
Comments: I switched from Ektelon to the new NXT Lethal. Zero vibration, 30% more power and great control. It is worth the money.
Comments: I was told that E-Force lacked control but was all about power. I had the opportunity to put the Lethal NXT Gen 170 to the test. We tried the Head Extreme 170 and an Ektelon O3 White up against the E-Force and the NXT Gen Lethal 170 by far was superior, not only in power but in control. If you are going to spend the money for a top of the line racquet, you must try the Lethal NXT Gen 170.
Comments: Truthfully, I never thought E-Force would be able to top the original Lethal! This NXT Gen 170 is super and laced with very menacing colors and graphics. E-Force created this "recoil power edge technology" and you can actually feel the racquet snap and power transfer to the ball with no vibration to the handle. It felt weird at first but I know my wrist, elbow, arm, and shoulder thank E-Force designers who have virtually eliminated all the vibration in this new design.
