ProKennex Kinetic KM 700 170 Racquet

Comments: This racquet also has excellent power with no vibration transfer, however it does take some getting use to that you can feel the vibration in the handle. Overall, I would say this is an excellent racquet especially if you are prone to tennis elbow.

Comments: I had an injury in my elbow, after many months of treatment, I got well. The ProKennex really gave me amazing support. It's a great racquet.

Comments: Nothing flashy about this racquet.  It's a blue collar, practical, hard working, get-it-done piece of equipment.  The stung weight and balance point give it some meat behind every shot and the swing weight makes it very maneuverable. The look of the racquet is nothing to write home about but then again looks do not win games.  The kinetic technology really does work in my opinion.  I would recommend that you give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.   Thanks ProKennex  for one great stick.

Comments: Love, love, love this racquet! Demoed the top racquets from all of the manufacturers and kept comparing them to the ProKennex Kinetic KM 700 170. The control is phenomenal and the power is there when you need it. Very thin beam racquet, which I like. I am continually returning shots that I couldn't get with the other racquets. My opponents are amazed at the number of rollouts I am getting. Try this one won't be disappointed!

Comments: Love this racquet. Amazing control and good power. Very much evenly balanced without noticeable head weight. Lets you flick your wrist more comfortably and easily compared to other racquets.

Comments: I demoed this racquet this week and when I was just looking at it was kind of disappointed since other than the color scheme looked exactly like the Kinetic Quad 500 that I have already. I did notice the different weighting to the racquet but otherwise expected it to hit the same. Well I got out on the court and all I can say is WOW! This racquet is amazing. There is almost zero vibration and the touch of the racquet is just amazing. I think I am going to have to sell an organ so that I can get this racquet! I love the balance and feel of this racquet. Comments: Well, after 5 (yes, FIVE) cracked Ektelon EXO3 Blacks, it was time to try something else. Decide to try this one after reading the reviews, and could not agree more with the post below. This racquet has great control and power. I'm making more pinches and splats then ever. A real confidence booster!! Prokennex is truly first class!!

Comments: Well, what can I say, I truly do love this racquet. I cracked my Ektelon exo3 black last September, and Ektelon wouldn't endorse me, so I emailed ProKennex, told them I have been interested in their stuff, and they approved me right away. Super cool, and nice guys at PK! Which made my choice in brand switching more confident and at ease. The racquet hits bombs, plain and said. Plus, being lighter than the exo3 black, my shoulder isn't having any repercussions from using this stick. No one I know uses ProKennex, but with greats like Jason Mannino, and the best of the best, Kane Waselenchuck using their stuff, you know they must be good! And good is a total understatement for them. Their pure1 glove, and other accessories too are probably the best I've ever had. Switch to ProKennex today! You won't regret it

Comments: I received my demo today and went to the club for my usual Friday Night lights match.  Wow!  I have never played with a PK racquet as most were always a little to stiff for me.  That being said this racquet was amazing.  Power was good (I have good swing and tend to hit harder than most) and the control and accurracy were nothing short of amazing. My ceiling balls, splats, pinches, and passes were all better tonight. Very Impressed.  After playing with the Head Meanstreak for two years, looks like I will be switching.

Comments: I have to agree with an earlier commenter that the power in this racquet is user generated and the racquet requires very good swing mechanics to really shine.  That being said, this is the most solid, vibration free Pro Kennex racquet to date. I have played exclusively with ProKennex for the past 15 years and after some "dialing in," this is my favorite stick by a long shot.
The racquet started off feeling too head light for me and the new, smaller grip caused some twisting in my hand ( I grip PK sticks very lightly towards the end of the handle).  I was not a fan of the stock wrap grip, so I switched to a Head Tacki-Mac MT grip....that was a huge improvement in my opinion (and maintained the smaller size in comparison to the more bulky Python).  I then played with a little lead tape at the 12 o'clock position to make it more head heavy. I ended up with it being about 3-4 points head heavy with the weight and grommet tape.  This ended up being the perfect setup for me - power went up considerably and I was hitting the ball higher up in the top of the sweet spot.
The control is phenomenal - as good or better than the best PK standard, with very good power for off the back wall kills. I think the performance will jump a notch again when I restring it...the PK Pure 17 is IMO merely adequate.

Comments: This racquet's 170g weight distribution is phenomenal. It feels like a feather in your hand, lighter than 165g racquets and cuts through the air like a laser-edged scalpel. This racquet is suited for the control/finesse player. The racquet is also good for those with quick hands. The downside is that most of the racquet's power is player generated; meaning exceptional swing mechanics, technique and strength is REQUIRED or else get ready for sore shoulders and elbows. With the string and tension that I had, a vibration dampener was also required. The grip was a definite plus; not necessarily to avoid slippage but for mechanics. I do not recommend this racquet for beginners.

Comments: Picked up my racquet about 4 weeks ago and have put about 90 games on it.  Rock solid, feels great, hits solid and is a great "touch" racquet anywhere near mid court, power is avg. for me as I am a touch player and string it with 18ga. to the max or +2 lbs. over the max. it's a point and shoot two wall pinch shooting machine. I had no problems with the smaller grip, I stay with the factory grips as I just can't get used to "pythons". moved up from the older "KN", feels about the same, maybe a little more power and head light.  I have tried most of the top end sticks from Head, Ektelon, E-force and the new comer Gear box..for my game and a touch racquet only Gear Box was the only other racquet I would consider.
side note on the Tecnifibre bi-phase strings...after 90 games they have stretched a lot and are loose...time to re string

Comments: Always wanted a ProKennex Racquet cause nobody I know owns one but I've always hated there uncomfortable handles. Thank you Prokennex for fixing this problem in the KM 700. This racquet hit very hard with factory settings very light on the arm a fast & slow swingers dream.

Comments: I received my racquets from Pro Kennex and was able to try them out last week. I'd been playing with the Kinetic Quad 170. I really like the even balanced racquets and didn't like the feel of the Quad 500 so I stayed with it. Until the KM 700... great feel and balance.. very nice... I thought I really like the old oval grip... now I realize I really like this hour glass grip much better... more natural feeling when switching to the back hand grip... very little if no vibration at all... hits very solid... I don't hit a ton so I can't say this is the most powerful racquet I've ever used... but it hits.... it doesn't make my feet move faster... but when I get there it does what I want....

Comments: First off this is an amazing racket. I have used PK for almost 10 years now and this is the most solid racket I have seen from them.  I noticed a decent amount of extra snap on the ball when playing with it. Control was good as always, and the racket was still really easy to flick around. The racket itself is just beautiful (some people worry about it.) I would recommend this PK product to anyone wanting a strong racket. I couldn't be happier with these rackets. Hope this helps.

Comments: Got my racquets from Pro Kennex, I like the feel and balance of the racquet, good power and great control.  Not a big fan of the wrap grip and will probably switch it out for a Python.  All-in-all it's a very solid racquet.

Comments: Just got my demo and i love it, used to head heavy stuff but even though this is even balanced, a bit of tape on the top and this racquet is perfect in my opinion, can't wait to buy two of my own and play with string tensions!
