Like one of James Bonds' suits the new adidas Opticourt VB 8.5 is both stylish and functional. The black and white cosmetics with silver accents shout modern yet classy and the weight and fit of the shoe makes it feel like it's almost not there. From the moment you slide your foot into these you're ready for action, the midsole is cushioned and offers plenty of support while the breathable upper contours to your foot, giving a glove-like feel. Adidas also made this shoe with durability in mind, including their adiWEAR outsole and adiTUFF upper materials into the production of the shoe. Performance-wise, you couldn't ask for more. Adidas's extended heel design provides an excellent base for stability and the mesh materials keep the weight down and help to increase the flow of air into the shoe, keeping your foot nice and cool. You don't need to be an international man of mystery to sport these kicks, but they will help you to overcome your nemesis!

Comments: I've been playing in this shoe for about a year and it's held up great. I play 4 days a weeks and depend on quick feet to keep me in the game. These shoes have good traction in bad court conditions. They are on the lighter side and have just now (after a year) started to show some major wear. This is an improvement on prior adidas shoes I've used. I've had various head shoes that only lasted me 3-5 months. If you want a low style shoe with good stability, good grip and light weight, this is a good option.
