Comments: Wife bought me a pair of shoes for Christmas, they were pretty comfortable and worked well. I play racquetball 2 to 4 times a week and I keep them in my bag. I literally only wear them on the court. It has been 5 months now and the leather on the side is already tearing through. Normal gym shoes I wear every day last longer than this. I am very disappointed and will seriously consider if I will ever by Ektelon shoes again.

Comments: Original shoe (1990s) was best shoe ever. This one now is tight and uncomfortable. After one hour of wear I got a huge blister on my pinky. I am sending them back.

Comments: Comfortable shoe out of the box. Had them for about a month before they started to separate at the side seam, causing my foot to slide sideways off the sole of the shoe. Pretty disappointing for a new shoe. Time to find something else.

Comments: I've had 4 or 5 pairs of Ektelon shoes over the years. They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Unfortunately, they come apart. 1st Pair.... sole separated. 2nd pair ripped on side. 3rd pair ripped at top lace hole. 4th at sole . I still buy them because they're so comfortable right out of the box. Hopefully, Ektelon will eventually get it right.

Comments: I have bought 2 pairs of these shoes and i must say that they are very comfortable but not really that well built. Although i continue to wear them because of the comfort factor, I wish they would hold up a little longer. My 1st pair started loosing its sole after the third month. The second pair has not lost its sole but it did not take long for the toe part to startcoming apart from the leather. I play appr. 2-3 days a week for about an hour at a time.

Comments: I bought my first pair of these shoes a couple of years ago and I loved them. They were comfortable and they held up great so I bought another pair. The second pair started to come apart and the sole after only a couple times of playing. I superglued them together in a couple different places and the help up pretty good. I decided to get another pair and this last pair started to come apart at the sole and at the toe of the shoe. Again, I used the Superglue and the sole held up but the toe ripped out shortly after getting them. As far as the comfort goes you can't beat them but ever since that first pair they just do not seem to hold up. I play 3-4 times a week and give them a good workout. I'm still looking for that comfortable, durable shoe. Any imput would be appreciated. Going to try a pair of ProKennex bases solely on the feedback on this website.

Comments: I also have experienced some anlke discomfort with this shoe. They also have an all together different feel than the originals I had several years ago. They feel harder and the materials are not has supple as the first pair. May be my imagination but the discomfort I have isn't. I have always used Ektelon Shoes but since my last pair of the form fitting model which they no longer make, which I can't believe, I am now serching for another make.

Comments: The shoe is really tight around the ankles, it is a unusal feel that has lead to shin splints in my legs. I don't think it is absolutely the shoes fault, but I have never had this problem with any other shoe. If I had another choice, I probably would not have got them, but since I had them for over a month (tried to give them a fair analysis), they are mine.
