Comments: I bought a roll because I have been using the GB 18g clear multi for years, and thought these would either be the same, or better. A 'frayed' not. The strings are coated with a black nylon sheath, which starts to flake off after hitting for a few days (at least you can tell if your hitting the sweet spot). A few more days, and the fiber underneath turns all fuzzy, like cotton. I can't be sure, but they didn't seem to last as long as the original GB 18g Multi string either. I'm going back to the clear, or trying another brand.
