Comments: I used to really like Head squash racquets, but had never tried their racquetball racquets. Picked the Great White because its strung weight and balance was similar to the racquets I had been using. It took a few weeks to get used to, after which I really liked it. Excellent power, good control, low vibration, and after 6 months, has proven very durable. Just ordered a second one.

Comments: not sure if the product is bad or i got defected item but string got loose in 2 months... after 4 months its completely messed up and I am looking for another one

Comments: I had a Head i165 racquet for about 18 months when the frame cracked. I thought about getting another one, but decided to try the Great White 167 since it was on sale. I've mostly played the same person twice a week for the last 2-3 years, but recently started turning the corner with more wins than losses. I'm not sure if I credit this racquet for turning the corner, but it has given me a little more consistent placement of shots low on the wall vs hitting the floor 3 inches short.

Comments: Follow up review.  I now have three of these racquets.  It is the only racquet I use. Great balance of power and control. It's fairly durable as well. It's held up to a handful of racquet-to-racquet collisions and wall strikes. Paired with Ashaway UltraKill 17, the racquet does everything I ask of it.  My racquet has become an afterthought. The Great White 167 does its part, now I can do my part through improving my strategy, shot selection, and shot-making.  Very good racquet at a reasonable price. No regerts ;-)

Comments: Just demo'd this one as part of series of four: Great White, Harrow Espiritus 180, Head Paola, and GB250, and was pretty impressed with the Great White. While the Harrow, surprisingly, was the one we enjoyed playing the most, the Great White was a very close 2nd for me. Very good combination of weight to eliminate torsion of the racquet in your hand on off-center shots (for the most part)but still light enough to be more than maneuverable enough for front-court work, it was the CONTROL was the most impressive aspect. Power was above average, but you can smack the ball on a rope from anywhere on the court for a solid kill, to the point my opponent was scrambling for the front wall anytime she saw me lining up my forehand from the 3/4 court mark to the back wall... enjoyed running her to death today, LOL. Very impressive raquet, if a little on the light side for me at 167... may try the 175 version of this (model name escapes me at the moment), but I enjoy playing it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Comments: A long term follow up to my previous review. Still is my primary racquet and I love playing with it! Amazing combination of lightweight, balance, control, power, accuracy, durability (this thing is nearly indestructible!) and it looks killer too! It continues to allow me to be the best player I can be as I've steadily improved now to be consistently invited into A team member doubles matches. Maybe worth noting...after hearing from a couple sources that the Head Hades 170 (found on the other racquetball website) was the same racquet as the Great White 167. I was curious and ordered a demo of the Hades. I can say first hand that the Hades feels less balanced, heavier and not as accurate. In fact, to me the Great White is MUCH better at everything with the only similar feature being the level of power I was able to generate seemed about equal on both racquets.

Comments: I have been playing for over 35 years. I have used pro kennex and ektelon for the most part. I tried the Hear Great White. It took some getting use to at first because it was so light.  It is the best racquet I have ever used. I bought a second for back up.  This racquet is indestructible.  I can dig out shots in the tightest corners.  If you want a racquet that does not break or crack this is the one. I lowered the tension to 35 for power. I highly recommend this racquet.

Comments: Just tried the demo - first impression was slight reduction in power over the head liquid metal 175, but much more control and way more maneuverable.  Played a couple of games of singles and a game of doubles and was impressed with hour quickly I could get the racquet into position to return a fast serve. For the price, its a bargin.

Comments: Don't let the price fool you... this is an awesome head racquet. Strong frame and, in my opinion, weighted perfectly for power and control. Just be sure to replace the factory strings immediately, or else you'll likely be modifying your swing to compensate for an inconsistent string job. Also, the playability of this racquet is exceptional. If you are currently playing with Head racquets, you'll be able to play with this one immediately. But if you're coming from the other brands, you may need a week to get comfortable with it. And then you'll probably buy several Great Whites once you realize what a great deal this is! Enjoy...

Comments: I have a quickness and control type of game and spend a lot of time in the front court. Don't use power much. Previously played with the E-Force Bedlam 165, but cracked the frame in a racquet-to-racquet collision. I also had an E-Force Bedlam 170, but found that 170 is too heavy for my style of play. I was concerned that the Great White 167 wouldn't be light enough for my style of play. Well, I played my first few matches with it today. It's perfect!  Just as maneuverable as my Bedlam 165 with better shot control plus added punch for the times I find myself in the back court and need to shoot a cross court or down the line pass. Bottom line: Great racquet.  I'll be ordering another for my backup.

Comments: However, I must say, wow! This Great White 167 by far exceeded my expectations and more. This is by far my favorite raquet I have ever played with. It has taken my game to another level, completely increased my confidence given its balance, light weight and accuracy. Simply put, it's a fantastic raquet . Most raquets eventually tend to give me some arm fatigue at some point, except for my harrow connect 160 and maybe a few others in the past I've tired from friends, but the power would be limited. However, with the Great White, my arm never seems to get fatigued, and when it does, as long as I sit out a game or two it's just enough rest to get it going again. The control this raquet gives you is just unfair at times, it eventually demoralizes your opponent to the point that you can constantly keep them on their toes because you are able to make just about every shot accurately and with good force to back it up. Personally, my game has been elevated drastically, even game I play  increases  my power increases and speed remains given its light weight and balance. This raquet becomes a total joy on the court. Especially, given that this raquet has an impressive way of making the exact shot you want when you want just about every time; even at times when your technique is a bit off,or you're caught of balance and on the defensive by your opponent; rest assured this raquet can dig you out of any tight situation  drastically shifting the burden on your opponent. All in all, a great buy, a wonderful raquet and I would like to extend a big thank you to RbW and HEAD for coming together and producing such a wonderful product! I finally feel like I've found my soulmate of a raquet. I hope you guys continue to partner up and maybe given the success off this raquet produce an even better one , if it's even possible. God bless you all; have fun on the courts.

Comments: I purchased this racquet recently and have been very satisfied. The power and control are very well balanced, and it truly feels like an extension of my hand. The sweet spot is nicely sized, and it plays forgiving. I am glad I shelled out a little more money than I had planned. I have let a couple friends give it a test run, and they had only compliments for it. As a bonus the graphics look awesome, it is a matte white to matte black gradient with glass red. Demo this if you get a chance.

Comments: Follow up to earlier review. 2 days after Racquetball Warehouse received the racquet got an e-mail stating a new one was on the way. 3 days later back to playing with it again, I think I might love this one more then the first one. Great Job RbW!

Comments: I have been playing with it for just under a year. I have loved the racquet, power and touch! Playing last night the racquet snapped about 2" above the handle returning a serve. Now granted the man has a powerful serve, but it should not have broke. Just started the return process with racquetball warehouse and Head. Hope things go smooth.

Comments: Hello, I just wanted to offer another update on my Great White experience which I've reviewed here already. Only this time I've been playing steady at least 3-4 times a week for 7 months now. I had ordered two Great White racquets so that I'd have a back up. Was a great plan since I got a great deal for buying two. Plus I ended up breaking the frame on one after another player and I accidentally smashed our racquets into one another. And yes, it was VERY hard contact. But prior to that, and even with the second one now they are very strong and durable racquets. The occasional hard smack on the wall, scrap along the floor trying to get the ball has not been an issue for these racquets. They just plain are strong in my experience! Ok, back to my main update. I've been playing for 7 months. About 1 month ago I started to get into a playing rut. Maybe I was playing too often or playing the same round of guys too much. Whatever it was I found myself starting to want to change something up to inspire and improve my game. It's not like I was losing too much or anything. I've been very consistent and win more than lose actually but knew I wasn't progressing within myself. Even though I know it's me and not my racquet, I decided that a change up might do me good. So I ordered some more demo racquets. I even ordered some from that "other" on-line racquet store. I tried the following. Ektelon Re-ignite 180, Ektelon ESP 175, Ektelon 03 Cooper, Ektelon EXO3 RG 170 Toron, Ektelon  EXO3 Cooper, Harrow Sovereign, Pro Kennex 2014 Kinetic FCB 175, and a E-Force Apocalypse 175. Out of all of them I enjoyed the E-Force Apocalypse 175 and the Ektelon 03 Cooper. I even went so far as to buy a friends used 03 Cooper. Yes it's a heavy racquet but I enjoyed it's control...well until I really started playing with it against the top tier A players. I had a hell of a time getting the racquet around on their super fast front court shots. So my friend bought it back from me as he kind of missed it anyway. Then the best player at my club was talking to me about racquets and the game in general. He's truly a great player and was a real beast in his heyday. He made me realize some of my playing mistakes I kept repeating. And he also made me realize my Great White is a great racquet. It gives me the maneuverability up front I need, and he demonstrated what I already knew as well, that the Great White has LOT'S of power on tap! I took his lessons to heart recently and re-committed myself to being more mechanically sound. Now I'm not only inspired and improving once more, but I'm loving my Great White as if it was brand new again. It really does play as an extension of my mind and body. I guess the moral of the story is that we all can get into a playing rut. But it's not always the racquet. Look within first and see if it's something you are doing wrong. A great racquet should allow you to play your best and I'm more sure than ever that the Great White allows me to be my best and has allowed me to continue to improve and be inspired! Thanks again RbW for such a great (white) racquet!

Comments: Myself and a buddy took advantage of the pricing to buy two. All can say is BOOM. I have only played with it once. After the  first game I realized I had a real gun in my hand. Control and power. to top it off after 11 games not near the arm fatigue I had from 170 Liquid Metal. My only complaint after one night of playing the wrap started to give out at the base. I hold the racquet really low on the handle, I think it gives me more wrist snap. This is best feeling racquet I have payrd with

Comments: Just getting back into racquetball after years away.  I bought a couple E-force racquets (Invasion 190 & Command PowerFlex 190) based on some demos and lots of research showing that at 48 yrs old, I should be looking at something heavier to save the old arm. Not unhappy with the choices per se, as I'm really crushing the Invasion -- not always sure where it's going -- they just aren't the most maneuverable racquets. I read the reviews of the Great White here and was finally able to get one to demo.  I've only spent a few hours with it and it was so good, I was compelled to write a little review.  This racquet really does feel like it's a part of you -- just a natural fit.  It's a stiff feeling frame, but not off-putting in any way. There's plenty of power even in the back court where I'm trying to shoot balls I have no business shooting.  The control is what amazes me the most. With the Invasion, I have no idea what's going to happen when hitting it.  With the Great White, I know instantaneously where the ball's going because it's going right where I want it to.  The Great White reads my thoughts and hits the shot I want to hit.  The 167g weight is definitely not an issue for the arm.  It's got a nice, slightly head heavy feel that's so easy to get around the court with.  Price-wise, why would you consider anything else?  You'd be hard pressed to find a better racquet used, let alone brand, spanky new!  I'd be buying one or two right now if Santa hadn't nixed any purchases until Christmas! If you haven't demo'd one, do it now!  You won't be sorry!

Comments: Just a quick update on my review below. I ordered and received two brand new Great White racquets and I'm VERY pleased to say that the new one I played with performed even better than the demo! It has a touch more power than the demo and yet has all the precise control still. They arrived in two days and were in the factory plastic with new tags and that new racquet smell. The smell of victory! lol I HIGHLY suggest you demo this racquet for yourself if your on the fence you won't be sorry in my experience and as the other reviewers here can attest. It can be a game changer for you as it was for me. Good luck and again I want to thank RbW for all their helpful advice with the many questions I had called about on a few different occasions. Outstanding customer service!  A truly amazing racquet that elevated my game to a level I honestly didn't think was possible in such a short amount of demo time! I played with all the racquets each day for at least 2 to 4 hours a day the entire week. I played in games of singles, doubles, and cutthroat with a variety of opponents of which none are any less than very good B players. The Great White was so much better for me than the other racquets so naturally I ended up playing with it the majority of the time totaling approx. 25-30 games. I literally lost one game I was involved in. That game was a singles match against my biggest rival on the court. He's been playing 20yrs. He's at least an A- B+ player who if we play 3 games usually will win 2 of the 3. However with the Great White I won 2 of 3 and the one loss I did have using the Great White was lost by a single point 14-15! (again one loss in all the matches of different varieties and opponents). Pretty much dramatic stuff for my game. Let me give a brief breakdown... Pros: Perfect blend of power, control, and maneuverability with looks that kill and the name Great White is perfect as it's a racquet that can strike fear in your opponents. Cons: I want to be critical but I really find no faults. The only thing I might say as a "negative" is that it's not THEE most powerful racquet I tried. Other than that I honestly cannot find any faults. In fact, a couple guys who did try it out are considering buying one now and were crushing the ball on their kill shots.  Bottom line: I could go on and on about how great Great White is...but this has been my experience with it and yours might be different of course. I'm ordering one. I allows me to play much faster, much more instinctual, even off-center shots turned into winners more often than not. Simply amazing and I'm not impressed I'm stunned at how good it is...again, for me. Like a natural extension of my arm, the ball goes where I want it too even at times when I'm out of position. It also feels lighter than the 160 BlackJack and the 165 Problem Child. The head heaviness is perfect for my swing speed. My arm feels great and as mentioned I've been killing it for a week straight every day. My backhand is my weakness but now it's already fast becoming something to have to deal with. I have touch, I have power galore, and I have superior maneuverability using the Great White. This is not a "gimmick" racquet as one of Racquetball Warehouse's on-line competitor website salesman tried to get me to believe! For the truth of the matter is clear to me now that being a Racquetball Warehouse "exclusive" at a unique 167 gram this is simply a well thought out, well designed beast of a racquet that Head and RbW have combined to develop. No wonder the "competition" was so keen to try and discredit RbW and their Great White! I also highly suggest using the demo program if your undecided on things. It worked to great result for myself and I'm a picky guy who has found his perfect racquet.THANK YOU SO MUCH RbW. Other demo racquets I used along with the Great White...Head Problem Child, Ares, and Scorpion. Also, I used other friends racquets which included Head BlackJack, Head Full House, Ektelon DRP 2500, Ektelon Re-ignite, Ektelon Cooper, a high end E-Force (which model name eludes me right now), and super light Wilson 145 model of some sort.

Comments: This racquet combines great power and maneuverability into one package.  The weight of the racquet enables me to hit a multitude of different shots, while the 5 point head-heaviness gives me great power.  This racquet has increased my game greatly and at the price, wasn't too painful on the wallet.  Thanks RbW and Head for a great product!

Comments: I was playing with an Ektelon EXO RG, which was nice but this head racquet is in a totally different league. Power and control are increased noticeably. The sweet spot seems to be huge and shots that happen to not be in the sweet spot still seem very good. I have played with a lot of racquets and this is by far the best racquet I have ever played with. I would recommend this racquet to anyone.

Comments: I had originally been playing with an Ektelon RG 03, but through RbW's used racquet program I ended up with a Head Black Jack. The maneuverability and ability to hit kill shots on the move had me attracted to it, but being a lower ability level the racquet didn't match up all the way. So I tried the Great White, and this was the perfect combination of power and maneuverability. The extra stiffness was originally offputting, but after spending some time with it I wouldn't have it any other way.  I've been hitting thunderous backhands like I never have before, and the heavier swingweight had not been enough to put me off like I had felt with my initial reactions. After the adjustment period, every aspect of my game has been enhanced power-wise, along with enhancing my weak gets to become acceptable. Obviously it's not enhancing my fundamentals and I still need work on my footwork, but this racquet is hands down the best I've swung after demos of the top of the line Gearbox, ProKennex, Ektelon and Head. As a C level player, this stick is pretty killer. But, I get the feeling if I were a higher level player, my opinion wouldn't change. I think I have a weapon that's going to be valuable to me for years to come, but for a fraction of the price.

Comments: Just received two Great White Racquets. Nice looking white with flat charcoal color. The Spec's on the racquet, matches my style of play. Hits hard deep court with 5 point head heavy, with 151 swing weight, light enough for quick actions in front court. Best of all the price $$ RbW you have a winner here! thank you!

Comments: I had just demoed the Zeus 165 (among others) and had already ordered another set of demos to come in soon.  When I was on the page, I saw the video for this racquet and thought it might be similar to the Zeus, but it sounded like it would have a bit more pop.  As Tom said, the price was right.  I ordered the package from RbW.The racquet came today and I had a court this afternoon.  I played with this stick for two hours and it lived up to all of my expectations.  The Conquest glove is a perfect match for it as well. This racquet is one of the best I have hit with in a while - and I have demoed a wide variety of the highest end racquets in the last couple months.  It hits similarly to the Zeus, but with more power and a bit more control.  I had no problem with front-court speed play or back of court drop shots (not to mention some fantastic kills with this thing).  I plan to order another to have as a backup racquet as well.

Comments: I stumbled across RbW's ad for this racquet and thought I would give it a chance. It was priced right and I was looking for something that would give my drive serves a little extra punch. I received the racquet yesterday and couldn't wait to try it. The look and feel of it were great. Last night, I hit the gym and put it to use. I could feel the power difference right away. Having the balance shifted moderately to the head of the racquet increased the swing weight just enough to increase speed without sacrificing the maneuverability. I purchased the Ektelon Attack Lite last year and used that for a while. The balance of that racquet was just too much. Great power, but no finesse. With this Great White, there doesn't seem to be the sacrifice of maneuverability at all. It is great in the front court as well as offering great power for high speed passes.
