Comments: Ordered this and the 1/4 inch for customizing mine and some friend's racquets. The paper backing was stuck to the lead, something happened to the adhesive and it seems to have cured onto the paper rendering my entire roll of 1/4 inch lead useless. It's cheap, but I don't appreciate wasting three dollars for no reason. I tore this stuff up trying to get the paper off, so it's completely unreturnable. I haven't had these issues with the 1/4 inch, only the 1/2 inch. I'm going to order another set of the 1/2 inch and see if the same thing happens, but I honestly recommend maybe trying a different brand or solution like tungsten, as this stuff seems to be super cheap.

Comments: Just played with it yesterday. Great stuff! If you do the math, one package is about .6 oz. I had no problems with it whatsoever. I use a POG (Prince Original Graphite) and applied tape to 2, 6, and 10 o'clock areas. Added weight increased the sweetspot! Oh and it's easy to correct a mistake. I highly recommend this product if you are experimenting with customization.

Comments: I bought a few of them yesterday and everything was great, but a little bit thin for me. I don't think it would stay long by placing multiple layers.

Comments: Got what I need. Bigger sweetspot, more stability. I didn't find any problems as mentioned by some users here.

Comments: The tape is really useful, but the parts where the corners are rolled around are hard to straighten out. Because it does that, it made it hard to evenly measure the tape.

Comments: At first I thought this was an excellent product. However, after a couple of weeks, I was convinced otherwise. The lead tape was flaking off! Now this is only the lead part. The adhesive is very good, but hard to take off, which is very inconvienent since the lead itself won't stay on. Also as Patrick said, it shrivels up easily, and it takes a while to straighten out from the pack.

Comments: Be careful when removing this stuff. It took the clear coat off my Wilson and Head sticks. If you're experimenting, it helps to stick the tape on some clothing first (use it like a lint brush) then put it on your frame so it can be safely removed.

Comments: I applied this stuff to my racket and my only complaint it that if you hit the ball against it or tap the ground, it makes it shrivel up. Other than that it was pretty sweet. It increased the weight and made the sweetspot bigger. I give it a B+.

Comments: Unbelievable good stuff. Easy to use. It sticks on even after multiple stringings.

Comments: I think a racquet isn't complete without lead tape. It extends the sweet spot, increases stability and feel. How can you go wrong? I've had this Gamma lead tape on my Prestige for years and it will only come off with a blowtorch. Plus, the mirror shine lets your opponent know you mean business.

Comments: Great stuff! It is easy to use, and stays stuck on, even after multiple string jobs.

Comments: Exellent for stability on impact, just ask Mr. Sampras.
From: Don, Chatham, Ontario, Canada. 12/03

Comments: Stay away from this product. It looks convenient since you peel and stick it on. Unfortunately, the product doesn't stay on. I hit for less than five minutes with it before one of the weights came off. If you want more weight, just stick to lead tape.
From: Phuong, Los Angeles, CA, USA. 12/03

Comments: If you are after 1/2 inch lead tape, then this is good stuff. I'd advise going for the 1/4 inch though if you don't want to split this tape in half down the middle - 1/4 inch is a lot easier to apply if you are adding weight to the inside of the frame.
