Comments: These are my third edition of Mizuno's, and like the other two, they do not dissapoint. I think they are a couple feathers heavier than the others I've had, but still a superb fit and finnish. I was pretty prone to roll my ankle with other shoes, but the Mizuno's have awesome lateral support. Tornado X has a thicker tongue that I wasn't sure about at first, but once laced up it doesn't have any slop in the heel. I still like the minimal connected feel of the slim tongue of the older models. They're still a 4.75 star for me.

Comments: These shoes are the cause of much sorrow in my life. They look amazing, they look like they mean business, and they look like if you these shoes, you could absolutely destroy Ben Croft on the court. However that is where it all stopped for me. I ordered them, and when I put them on, something didn't feel right when I started walking around. My heel was not secure, it had a lot of movement and when I would lean forward, it would actually come out about a half of an inch. I tried a variety of lacing styles found on YouTube, some helped but nothing resolved the issue. This destroyed me inside, there is no way I can play with my heel so loose. Out of desparation I sent them back and ordered a half size smaller only to find out that the same issue was there. I even called Mizuno and asked if they had received complaints such as mine and they said that they have not; apparently I have mutant feet. If I am ever to face Ben Croft and have the confidence to obliterate him on the court, it won't be with these shoes.  Hopefully they work for other buyers because they look even better in person than they do on the screen. In case you are curious as to my solution, in my desperation I also ordered the Mizuno Wave Lightning Z3's to see if they would bring me better luck than their bigger brother the Tornados and hallelujah! I have found the shoe that will lead me to victory! Ben...I hope you are reading this because I've got my game face on and shoes that will make me run faster, jump higher, and open any door like I am some kind of racquetball Jedi. side note: all references to me destroying, obliterating, or having any kind of victory over Ben Croft are completely baseless and 100% sarcastic. I am at best a B player and can only hope to one day shake Mr. Croft's hand and in doing so, pray that I will not be consumed by his natural aura. This was all in good fun...please don't hurt me Ben.

Comments: Perfect fit out of the box, no break in needed! They are super comfortable and have great support. I have foot problems (severe bunion and neuromas) and these shoes give great support, have vents below the metatarsal and toes which helps provide air to cool overheated nerves (neuroma pain!), and the heel base is wider and more solid than any racquetball shoes I've used. I can cut without losing stability or rolling my ankle. I have worn ektelon, adidas, and asics in search of shoes that work for my feet. I am now a Mizuno convert! I appreciate RbW for always offering suggestions and answering questions to help make the right selection!
