Works greatWorks great. The 1/4 inch width was ideal for my racquet. I use it on my 3 & 9.

Previous Feedback

Comments: The adhesive is poor and it doesn't stick to racquets well. I tried with Wilson and Prince racquets. Came off in minutes.

Comments: I agree with the review below; this tape doesn't stick well at all. Unless you plan to use it under the grip or under the bumper, don't waste your money.

Comments: Terrible. Don't buy. It doesn't stick at all. Starts falling off when you hit.
From:Anonymous, 1/25/20

Comments: This lead tape has been great. Fits perfectly on the frames that I've been using and also sticks well without being a hassle to take off on both frames and grips. I will continue to use this product.
From:James, 9/16

Comments: Awesome lead tape. Sticks well, easy to take off when needed, excellent width for putting it on any area of the racquet. Highly recommended.
From:James, 5/16

Comments: This is great lead tape! Easy to apply and it stays on. I recommend it.

Comments: The Tourna Lead Tape works great for precision weight addition around my racquet. However, when I want to concentrate at a specific point I find the Tourna Power Strips work better. They put more mass in a smaller area. Both items are easy to work with and stay on well.

Comments: can you put lead tape underneath the overgrip on the tennis racket?

(Anon, check out our article on customizing a racquet to answer all of your questions regarding lead tape.--TW Staff)

Comments: TW is correct! Weighed a 36" piece on a precision balance beam scale. 9 grams exactly, making a 4 inch piece-- 1 gram-- or .25g per inch.
From:Ron, Chicago. 11/08

Comments: I have weighed the lead tape and 4" weighs 1 gram, not half a gram. TW confirms this at 0.25gr per inch. The lead tape sticks well on my Wilson nCode-n6 and it won't come off.
From:Nick, Sydney, NSW, Australia. 4/08

Comments: I think 1" of tape is .25 grams as TW states. I weighed a roll and did the math - it comes out very close to .25G per inch - just a little over with the backing still on the tape. It stays on forever if you take the slick side of the backing and rub it on to the frame to get out air and wrinkles. It's been on my rackets for 4+ months without a problem.
From:Chris, Atlanta, GA, USA, 09/07

Comments: I think the weight on the back of the pack is correct. If they are correct, I have added about 1/4 ounce to my racquet, and my racquet would now be about 10 3/4 ounces. If TW's description is correct (1 inch = .25 grams), I would have added about 1/2 ounces to my racquet, and the racquet would weigh about 11 1/4 ounces. (TW's weight estimate is double that of Unique.) My racquet feels like it is under 11 ounces after adding the lead tape. I can tell by comparing it to other racquets I have. Therefore I think Unique's weight description is correct. PS- I don't think you need vinyl tape. The lead tape does not come off.
From:Henry, San Francisco, CA, USA, 02/07

Comments: Great stuff. The actual weight is what's described on TW, not on the back of the pack. The edges can start coming off after a few hours but if you invest in the rolls of vinyl tape they sell on TW, just tape over the lead and give em a blow-dry for good measure. It'll stay on forever and you can protect yourself from lead poisoning, as the state of California believes (or so it says on the back of the packet).
