Ektelon 2014-15 EXO3 Toron Lite 160 Racquet
Ektelon 2014-15 EXO3 Toron Lite 160 Racquet
+ Demo Racquet

For the '14-'15 season the Ektelon EXO3 Toron Lite 160 has been updated with a new yellow/black cosmetic and reinforced by TeXtreme (a thinner, lighter, and more durable way to weave carbon fibers) in four key areas of the frame to provide torsional stability and superior durability. This racquet is the choice of legend Ruben Gonzalez as he continues to cement his place racquetball history, so the specs have not been changed from the previous EXO3 RG Toron Lite 160.  Packed with Ektelon innovation, this stick features a powerful combination of a large sweetspot (EXO3 ports) and long main-strings (DPR - Double Power Ring) perfect for players looking to maximize power and maneuverability.

All racquets come factory strung with a wrist cord installed. Click the Specs tab for more details.

Comments: I've owned and used: E-Force Lethal NXT Gen 160g - duration: 1-2 year(s), E-Force Heatseeker 3.0 160g - duration: 6 months, E-Force Missle 230g - duration: 3 years, E-Force Gladiator 205g? - duration: 5+ years. I've demo'ed for a week: Ektelon EXO3 Toron Lite 160g, Head Graphene Radical 160g, E-Force Apocalyse 160g, Head GrapheneXT 165g. In depth review: E-Force Lethal NXT Gen 160g - duration: 1-2 year(s) - this is my favorite racquet. it fits my playing abilities very well. it's accurate and has good power. Not as good as the HeatSeeker 3.0 though. E-Force Heatseeker 3.0 160g - duration: 6 months - the power! this thing makes this sonic boom like sound with new fresh racquetballs on power hits. I'm not sure if it's because this racquet plays like a 170g or if it has a higher strung swingweight than the Lethal NXT Gen, but the biggest flaw for me is the slow split second reaction it gives me at the front court. For me that's a game changer, and puts the Lethal NXT Gen as my favorite racquet so far. E-Force Missle 230g - duration: 3 years - decent racquet to continue playing and learning. Better than the gladiator despite the weight, i think it just had newer technology in it. E-Force Gladiator 205g? - duration: 6+ years - i think this thing was $40-60 when i bought it. I went from some $20-30 racquet, and it was night and day! This thing had power and accuracy! It was worth every penny! Ektelon EXO3 Toron Lite 160g - duration: 7 days - my next replacement for the E-Force Lethal NXT Gen?!?! I was surprised by this racquet. I really thought the next racquet, Head Graphene Radical, was going to be the supreme replacement. I had 3 other friends try this Ektelon racquet and they all couldn't put their finger on it, but they all had better games with this racquet. I'm going to consider this the magical hit factor on this racquet. Personally the stock handle seemed a bit too thick from the rubber grip. But I had a very good game with it too. If I buy this racquet, I may switch out the grip right away. Head Graphene Radical 160g - duration: 7 days - good racquet, but i would say the accuracy for just not as good as the EXO3. decent power. E-Force Apocalyse 160g - duration: 7 days - power! sonic boom like sounds from this and a new fresh racquetball!!! just like the Heatseeker 3.0. the accuracy isn't as good as the EXO3. I would say the front court control was thing was improved from the Heatseeker 3.0 though. I was able to get that split second reaction speed in the front court. If this had the accuracy of the Head Graphene Radical, then I'd get this one instead. Head GrapheneXT 165g - duration: 7 days - Nothing special here. It was a good racquet with power, movement speed and accuracy, but there just didn't seem to be a magical hit from this. About me: When I read this chart I would consider myself a Level C player but to be embarrassingly honest, when I get in the court with seasoned players, I fell like a novice! I "thought" I knew how to play position and how to read the ball. Are these players Level B? I think they consider themselves Level C or D... I guess it's all a matter of perspective. I play racquetball casually with friends and been doing so with different people since a young age. My years of experience would then be at 20 years, but I don't think I play well enough to really advertise that. I've had no professional training, but I just love playing the game. It's a great work out that's fun (i hate treadmill running! that's so boring!) I enjoy the fast pace front court action, but a strategic back court high corner can be very helpful.

Comments: Didn't care for it out the box.. factory string job was horrible.  Re-strung at 33# and plays great.

Comments: I got to try tis out the other day.  I have been playing with last years version for a couple of years.  Couldn't tell the difference.  Nice racquet though, very balanced between power and control.  ..probably a tad more control than power.

Comments: This is the best Ektelon Racquet ever. I like everything about this racquet especially the increased control from all over the court, even with off center shots.  Amazing! You must demo this one.

Comments: This is a great racquet in all ways possible. Very forgiving with a big sweet spot, lots of power and  super control with the string pattern. Thanks to RbW I was able to demo three of the top new racquets. A Head  a Pro Kennex and the Ektelon , they were ALL fine racquets but I chose the Ektelon. TY,  RbW  so much.
