Overview

The Ashaway Superkill XL is a long time popular string sporting the Red, White & Blue, coming from one of the few brands still manufacturing in the USA.
  • Construction: Multifilament core of high tenacity nylon polymers for optimum strength and tension stability. Double braided nylon polymer jacket provides superior wear surface with added texture for ball control and durability
  • Playability: This string combines the excellent response and resiliency of a multifilament core with the superior ball control provided by the unique textured surface of double braided nylon polymers. The result is a very lively, resilient string that really bites the ball

The gold standardThis is the string I keep coming back to after trying all the other strings. It is durable, powerful, and holds tension well. This string is better than the premium priced strings. I string at 34 pounds on an E-Force 170 for power and touch as an elite player.

Comments: I'm relatively new to the game (3 yrs) and I've tried a bunch of different strings. This is probably my favorite so far. Durable, good power and feel. Will compare against the new Multikill 17 in the coming weeks to see how it measures up.

Comments: Awesome string. Lots of bite and surprisingly durable for the type of texture it has. Has plenty of power. It does wear quicker than most smooth strings, but if you play a precision game and know how to spin the ball, this is definitely it. Haven't found a string like it yet.

Comments: Fantastic pop, easy on the arm. Textured surface provides great control. Favorite string.

Comments: This is my string of choice.  I really like the texture, I feel I get a lot better grip on the ball for control.  Some strings feel stiff and hard, but these have a very nice soft feel to them.  I don't have any problem with breakage myself, I've been using this for almost two years and I can go 3-4 months on a set.  But if you are a chronic string breaker or have a tendency to slice your shots, these might not be for you.  The texture is abrasive and they will wear into themselves quicker than smooth strings.

Comments: Good response holds tension. Great string for players looking for a better feel on string bed. Plays exceptions at 37 lbs.
