HEAD Graphene Radical 180 Racquet
HEAD Graphene Radical 180 Racquet
+ Demo Racquet

Despite being the heaviest racquet in the '14-'15 lineup, the HEAD Graphene Radical 180 Racquet is anything but sluggish. This 180g powerhouse will allow you to crush the ball on drive serves and lay down the hammer from the back-court. Featuring a black matte-finish with eye-popping neon yellow accents, it whips through ball contact with ease due to the maneuverable 147 swingweight and head-light balance. HEAD's Graphene technology integrates the ultra-light and ultra-strong material in strategic areas of the frame to redistribute weight, resulting in more stability and power with less effort.

All racquets come factory strung with a wrist cord installed. Click the Specs tab for more details.

*Unstrung weight is part of the name given to this racquet by the manufacturer; all other specs are measured by Racquetball Warehouse USRSA Master Racquet Technicians on a Babolat Racquet Diagnostic Center machine. String never weighs more than 25 grams, so if there is more than a 25 gram variance between Unstrung Weight and Strung Weight then the manufacturer most likely measured the Unstrung Weight of the raw graphite frame (i.e. without grip, grommets, or paint). In addition, due to the porous nature of graphite material, manufacturers approve of a +/- 10 gram variance during the manufacturing process.

Comments: When I tried this frame, it felt solid.  However, the power wasn't there.  I would give it a 7 on a 10 scale, control was an 8.  Otherwise balance felt good.

Comments: Been a HEAD player for years, had to switch to GearBox for a while because HEAD stopped making heavy racquets and was very happy when they came out finally after almost 3 years with a heavier racquet. I took a break from playing for 3 months and this was the first racquet I picked up and it was incredible. The power, feel, and touch was something i've never experienced to this level. Going to be playing with this racquet for many years to come! Great feel and incredible Power.
