Overview

For those seeking a compromise of durability with a soft feel, OG Sheep Micro Super is a great option. Gosen's most popular synthetic gut offers a good balance of resiliency and feel and works well with all-court players.

Compared to OG Micro, this string has a thicker center core along with a more durable coating. The result is a slightly firmer feel and higher durability than OG Micro.

Comments: It's a really nice string probably around the first week after stringing. It really drops it's playability around the 2nd week and it loses it's forgiveness at that point. It started as a really comfortable string but around the 2nd week it started to lose it's elasticity and become a little bit harsh. It's still more comfortable than Hyper G 17g at 52 lbs, but I like the predictability and that string is more forgiving at that point. (After I felt the playability drop I switched to the Hyper G strung at the same tension but the static tension dropped a little bit). I would probably cut the string, restring every three weeks and start at a lower tension. I'm a strong 3.5-4.0 player that plays at least 12 hours a week using Babolat Pure Strike 18x20 (2014).

Comments: Great feel and power return on shots. I use it as a cross string for polys and have never been disappointed by its reliability and performance. Tension maintenance is great as I am tension sensitive. Great value and classic synthetic feel. I'm a 4.5 player who hits with heavy topspin and use a Head Extreme Pro.

Comments: Just love the sound it makes when hitting the ball, even my opponent loved it. Nice control and feels good on the arm, strung at 60 lbs on a ProKennex 7g. Durability is good so far -- on 5 hours of hitting with semi-light topspin hitting.

Comments: I have used Micro Sheep for years, good feel, very durable. Two weeks ago tried this Super, feel is less, control is less, last less than 2 weeks compared to 4 months; in every aspect it is worse than the original.

Comments: Great when freshly strung. Plays better than gamma TNT IMO. Downside is that it loses tension and goes dead after only a few hours (1-2 good hitting sessions).

Comments: It's very good string which is soft, has good control and pop. The outer plastic is started to fade after about 5 hours of tennis; however, I feel more bite and topspin (but less pop) of the ball after the lost of the outer skin. I have use it for about 12 hours, it's still working good. It's a very good string for hybrid, and nothing can beat its price.

Comments: I equipped my (intelligence, flexpoint, youtek) prestige's with this string. It's the best Synthetic string I ever used. Loads of everything there is on a synthetic gut, Period!
