Wilson Racquetball is taking the initiative in being environmentally friendly by changing the packaging on all racquetball products.

Wilson Racquetball is eliminating covers on all recreational racquets for 2010. Every year there are potentially one million racquetball covers that end up in landfills across the country. These covers are often made from PVC material that can sit in a landfill for 30 to 40 years. PVC is the most environmentally harmful plastic that poses serious environmental health threats. All of our recreational racquetball racquets are now sold without a cover. We have also eliminated PVC from both ball and eyewear packaging.

And we haven't stopped there! Our gloves are packaged in 100% cardboard material that is easy to recycle. This is the second year of the new cardboard packaging which instantly triggered an increase in glove sales.
