Overview

With Reflex MLT Head delivers an extremely comfortable multifilament with plenty of power and a gut like feel. Under the hood this string packs an army of 1,300 velvety filaments bonded with a flexible PU Resin. The upshot is a remarkably plush and low-vibration feel (think arm-friendly).   Players looking to add power to their game should love this string. With its unique low-friction coating, Reflex offers impressive spin and durability for its class. It's also a great option for players who want to increase the comfort of a lighter, sub-300 gram racquet.  All in all this is a very solid multifilament that should work very well for a wide range of players looking for comfort, power and touch.

Previous Feedback

Comments: I am a 4.0 level player who uses the Head Microgel Radical MP strung at 50 pounds. I tried this string because of elbow soreness. I am about six sessions into this string. I playing pain-free and for that alone I am grateful. In addition I am appreciating how much information this string conveys to my hands. Plenty of touch, feel, control, and power. Can't speak for its durability at this point but overall, for a seriously expensive string, it delivers quality and is rewarding to play with.

Comments: Least durable strings I've played with; I've broken at least three of these. Frays start to show after six or so sets of level 3.5 play and string breaks only after about ten times of play. I string these fairly low tension at 51 pounds using Head Instinct MP racquets. On the other hand, the strings have great feel and power.

Comments: Reflex MLT used to be so soft they would fray easily on the stringbed. It wasn't as durable, but was super comfortable on the arm. Today they're making it more durable and less arm-friendly it feels more like a $9 string.
From: Brad, 6/11/20

Comments: At 57 lbs, it is very sticky, doesn't move at all, looses flexibility badly and also drops in power and spin. Had to lubricate with engine oil, which helped slight movement and performance.
From:Muhammad, 7/14/17

Comments: Very sticky to string, like BiPhase. Notches easily so that it slides up and down on the poly mains but the mains don't move.

Comments: Very nice competitor of Xcel 16. This string has a lot more comfort, power, and ball pocketing compared to Babolat Xcel. The only disadvantages of this string is string movement. The string moves constantly even on the crosses. I tried both a full-bed and hybrid with this string, strung at 54 lbs. I am a 3.0 high school freshman that usually generates a lot of spin.
From:Nikhil, 3/16

Comments: This is a really good multifilament. I strung it with Gosen Sidewinder 17 at 54 lbs. It provides ultimate comfort, controllable power, and nice ball pocketing. But since I generate a lot of topspin, the string moves a lot after every hit and I have to adjust my strings after every point. The hybrid is even softer than a full bed Babolat Xcel!
