Responsive, quick and comfortable!

Add some spring into your step with the NikeCourt Zoom NXT! This high performance court shoe features a large Zoom Air unit in the forefoot to supply you with energy return as you sprint towards the next shot. Weight has been strategically reduced to help keep you feeling light, but still maintains the durability needed when grinding it out on the hard courts. Breathable mesh on the uppers is designed to keep your feet cool, while the padded ankle collar, and Zoom Air underfoot will keep you feeling comfy for hours on court.

  • Upper: Breatheable mesh designed to keep feet cool during tough matches. Plush and padded ankle collar for added comfort. Partial internal sleeve supplies a glove-like fit, and reduces heel slip. Pull tabs on heel and tongue to make it easy for taking on or off.
  • Midsole: Large Zoom Air Unit in the forefoot, that is curved to respond to your stride. Midfoot shank plate provides rigidity for stability, while having enough flexibility for easy heel to toe transition.
  • Outsole: A data informed outsole, which eliminates extra bulk, but is durable where most needed.
  • Color: White / Navy / Green

Changed From ASICS To NikeFor years I have dealt with the narrow footbed, weight and too firm side to side support of Asics Resolution 7, 8 and 9. I switched to Resolution 9 wide, but it was too wide. My main issue is the firm side-to-side support was straining my ankles on hard stops and turns. Yes, the Zoom NXT mesh uppers get softer over time. I'm just a 3.5-4.0 player enjoying more comfort and response. The Vapor is Nike's firmer side-to-side support shoe. I may try the Vapor if the mesh gets too soft. But no more clunky ASICS. I use thick gel insoles in every shoe.

New favorite Nike tennis shoeI'm a 4.5 player and have played with Nike Vapor's for years and wanted a change so I thought I'd try this shoe out. I've had several pairs now all of which have been very sturdy, comfortable and long lasting. I have had no issues with eyelets breaking or any other defect with the shoes at all. Overall, a great and good looking shoe!

Great for comfort and gripping the courtThis is a great shoe that has grip and comfort. It is a heavier tennis shoe. Fits the foot snuggly but not too tight. Great spring in the step too.

Comfortable but eyelet broke after a week. These were comfy (if a little roomy) and have a good response/move. However, the top eyelet broke after a week. Not sure the rest of the eyelets will last the month looking rather fragile. Am out of country for 6 months so cant return. Do not buy these shoes.

Hurt AchillesI never do these reviews but want to prevent someone from buying these. After wearing them for 2 hours my Achilles hurt so bad I took them off and never put them on again. Not as roomy as other reviewers have said either. The rest of my foot was not feeling comfortable either. Going back to Asics Gel Resolution.

Zoom units are useless for tennisI'm a 5.5 in his 20s that loves to grind and I was really disappointed with these shoes. The height they give you makes rolling your ankle way too easy to do and it's a bad roll in these shoes. The weight is immense, I don't think the zoom units do much at all, and the tread on these shoes manages to wear out fast while providing very little traction on gritty hard courts. Order a half size down if you get these.
