Nike has kept what you loved about the previous Vapor Pro and added an Air Zoom unit in the forefoot for a great match day shoe!

Nike makes slight tweaks to make the Air Zoom Vapor Pro 2 one of the most popular match day shoes for players of all levels! Now with an Air Zoom unit in the forefoot for more cushioning underfoot and a springy feel, the upper of this shoe will feel familiar as the entry remains the same and the stretchy internal sleeve paired with mesh offers breathable, light support.

  • Upper: Stretchy internal sleeve and mesh for 2 layers of support; breathable. Asymmetrical lacing hugs feet during lateral movements.
  • Midsole: Air Zoom unit in forefoot and soft foam midsole for responsive cushioning and a low to the ground feel. Full-length foot frame on lateral side adds stability.
  • Outsole: Generative design for traction when changing direction; thicker tread in high-wear zones.
  • Color: White / Silver

Lightweight, solid, and smoothI'd rate these shoes around a 4.5 if I could. These shoes are extremely comfortable, yet they still remain light. I like that you can still slide a bit in them on hard courts. They made me feel really secure. I wish there was another eyelet on the inner side of the shoe for lacing them, but overall really secure in the heel and ankle. Overall, they just fit my feet super well. A little more durability would be nice, but again I do slide in them.

Great shoe but…I love this shoe and have bought several pairs. They are comfortable out of the box and supportive. The only issue I have is that the soles wear down very fast.

Lightweight, good for aggressive moversThis is a comfortable shoe and good for players who run a lot/move aggressively on court as it's so lightweight. I do wish it had more stability with side to side movement, there's not that much. Even when tying them as tight as possible at the start of a match, I always have to retie them halfway through because they stretch as you're moving.

Love the wide fitThe wide fit is just perfect for me! Hope they continue this line and bring different colors like before.

Women’s Nike Vapor Pro 2Terrible shoe. It’s much wider than the previous models. At first, it felt supportive. After two or three weeks, my arch hurt so bad. I finally figured out the shoe caused my foot pain. I’m seeing a podiatrist to help me repair my feet from this shoe. My toes were so squished that the underside of my foot started to ache.

DecentThe shoe is decent in my opinion. The sizing is a little bigger than Nike’s usually sizing, but not big enough for me to order a half size down. The shoe is much wider and roomier than the previous Vapors. I have not had issues with my feet sliding or any other foot issues. I’m a 4.5 player, play 2-4 times per week and find they do the job. I don’t have any regrets, but hope Nike will do better with the next version. I recently purchased the Air Zoom Vapor AJ3. That shoe is by far the coolest and best tennis shoe I have ever purchased! But comes at a high price tag. Luckily it was my birthday!

Awful Tennis ShoesI was very excited to see Nike had put out a new "wide" shoe. I used to wear the Vapor Cage 4 with the wide toe box but they discontinued making them for women (while still making them for men in a very sexist move and printing "RAFA" on the back of each one making them just hideous). I wore these to team clinic last night. At first, they went on comfortably but as soon as I stepped onto the court, I knew there was going to be an issue. First, they were a little long. I did not feel secure. I tightened the laces and immediately was in horrible pain. I loosened the laces and went about practice. I felt awkward the entire clinic and in the last 5 minutes, I fell (albeit quite gracefully) to the ground. I cursed these shoes and returned them this morning. I'll stick to the Wilson wide Rush Pro Ace. They are much more comfortable.

These are VERY narrow! While these are attractive shoes, they are definitely NOT WIDE and are more narrow than most medium-width shoes. These almost wouldn't qualify as medium width. The ivory ones were even more narrow.

runs big!I haven't worn Nike in a while but wear an 8.5 in other brands for my running and tennis shoes. I ordered 8.5 and they are huge, going to order a smaller size and see how it goes. They feel comfortable, I hope the smaller size works!
