Bit confusedI pulled this grip tight on my Dunlop Aerogel 2Hundred and M-Fil 2Hundred Plus (both #3 grips) and the final grips both measure almost exactly 4 3/8" in circumference. I used both a strip of paper and a spare piece of OG to do the measuring. There is no grip size reduction at all! Giving this product the benefit of the doubt, I can only conclude that the pallets of rackets past are bigger than those of current rackets, and that it takes such a thin replacement grip to bring them to their correct nominal size.

Functional Replacement Grip OptionIt indeed reduced my L3 Dunlop's to L2. The reduction in cushioning is minor because I use an overgrip. A bit stiff though, and caused some wrinkles around the top of the butt cap.

Diamond in the roughThere are only a handful of replacement grips left unchecked (maybe) in the thin category. Tourna thin grip has no close relative.

Thinnest replacement gripIt's thinner than the Babolat Syntec Team Replacement Grip which is 1.5 mm. The Wilson Featherthin is 1.4mm. This Tourna Pro Thin grip is 1.25mm, so the best option if you're trying to reduce grip size. Quite tacky too and no complaints when it comes to quality.

Good valueIf you need a replacement grip that will not increase your grip size by much or change significantly the balance of the racquet (the grip is 1.25 mm) you'll not find a better value than this.

Best Option for a Thin Replacement GripBought a Babolat Pure Drive Size 3 recently and noticed it was causing me some knuckle pain. Upon measuring the grip size, it apparently runs a bit large, almost at 4 1/2 with just the original grip. Searched online for thin replacement grips and came across the Tourna Replacement Grip. Replaced the bulky original grip with this one and I'm even able to put an overgrip over it. Immediately solved the issue with my knuckle pain. If you need to size down your racquet this is the solution!

When your grip feels 1 /16" too largeI use this when a player says the grip feels too big.

Great productI had a 4 5/8 grip and was a bit too big, so I used this to take it 1 grip size lower to 4 3/8.

Previous Feedback

Comments: This grip does what it says it does, making the handle feel a size smaller, or at least almost a size smaller. Because the grip is so thin, it does weigh a few grams less than a normal grip, and it doesn't install in such a clean way as a normal grip either. But with an overgrip on it, it looks fine and feels fine.

Comments: This is a great grip for going down a half size so that you can use an overgrip to get back to the original size of your grip. It may not work great on it's own unless you are in a non-humid, cool climate. It isn't a plush rubber.
From: Coach, 6/8/19

Comments: This grip does exactly what it says it will do: reduce hour grip size and it really makes a difference. This is even thinner than Prince Resi Thin.
From: Jonathan, 1/18/18

Comments: Looks like the latest version corrected the "kitchen plastic liner" feel issue as described by reviewers below, makes it feels a bit like Prince Resi-Thin. However, at the same time, it becomes slightly thicker. Now it's not much thinner than Prince Resi-Thin.
From: Troy, 7/31/17

Comments: This grip felf good at first but soon it lost its tackiness. I agree with Charles's feedback that it feels like kitchen plastic liner.
From: Jon, 4/3/17

Comments: I agree with Charles' review. It feels like plastic and can not be wrapped smoothly because of its material composition. Calling it cabinet liner doesn't do cabinet liner justice. It's not even that thin. This is the first product of theirs that I have been disappointed in. I'll go back to Prince Resi-Thin.
From: Bill, 10/16

Comments: I agree with Paul. Resi-thin is not that thin. Tourna Pro Thin is thinner.
From: Dan, 11/15

Comments: I'd respectfully disagree with the previous reviewer. This (1.25mm) is much thinner than the current batch of Prince Resi-thin grips. Prince Resi-thin is now much thicker than the original spec of 1.5mm, almost as thick as ResiPro at 1.8mm+ now, also it "swells" up big time in summer days, which beat the purpose of being a thin replacement grip. Tourna Pro Thin is particularly good when using together with those thin 0.45mm or under overgrips.
From: Paul, 9/15

Comments: I will not buy this replacement grip again. This replacement grip is thinner than Babolat Skin Feel and as thin as Prince Resithin. However, the feel is disappointing. It feels like a kitchen cupboard plastic liner. Buy the Prince Resithin instead. It feels much, much better.
