Yonex shoeThis was the second time ordering this shoe and the first pair was a little harder than other shoes I have worn to break in but after 3 or 4 uses it was great. For some reason this pair would not work in. After more than a dozen uses they are still unbearable to wear. I would like a refund or replacement because I think something is wrong with these shoes. The plastic seems thicker and is digging into the outside of my feet.

Great cushioning and lateral supportIt takes a few wears to break in these shoes - the area on the outsides of the toebox is stiff. Taking a blowdryer to it (inside and out) and then walking around the house with 2 pairs of socks on helped. After that I loved the low-to-the ground solid feel I got. They're lighter than the Asics Gel Resolution, but better soles than Nike's and more cushioned than both. I used mine (2 to 3 times per week) and they lasted 6 months. I'm getting another pair.
Terribly uncomfortableThe shoe has internal seams that hurt your toes - particularly the pinky toes. Bought them by accident in two sizes, 9.5 and 10, so it is not a matter of error in sizing. Never had this issue with other shoes.
Love this shoeI was so satisfied that I bought two pairs from Tennis Warehouse. It is light and cushioned.

Great tennis shoesI bought two pairs; less cushioning than ASICS Gel Resolution 8 but it's good enough and light. Great look. Love these shoes!
Great shoesGreat, stylish shoes and perfect support for ankles. I'd definitely recommend these shoes to anyone who is playing tennis and pickleball.
Yonex makes shoes?Took a flyer on these because faves not available and love the quality control of their racquets of which I am a fan. So we have a very comfortable shoe from the outset here on a stable platform. At least to me. A bit like Barricades but nimbler. Took a little breaking in to feel totally groovy but maybe my feet aren't as isometric as Yonex racquets.

Solid shoes but no Asics Gel Res 8sBought these hoping to find a more available stand-in for my usual Asics Gel Res 8s but these aren't quite as good as those shoes. Good tennis shoes, but they lack some cushioning, and therefore comfort, under the forefoot. They're a bit lighter than the Gel Res 8s and yet just as stable - so they really are a great shoe, it's just the Gel Res are a bit more comfortable.
If you don't need the extra forefoot comfort of the Gel Res and want something lighter and faster than those shoes, then these are for you.
