customer review

Comments: Demoed this, the Invasion x, the FFt175, the new RG toron, and I own the Ares 175. the Gearbox allows me to put a lot of power behind the ball, but also allows me to place my touch shots, it has superior feel in both of these areas, compared to other racquets. It is so maneuverable and easy to control. This will be my choice

Comments: A little more power than the solid.  I hit this racquet about 5mph faster than my solid.  But feel is the same.  I switched to gearbox from eforce 5 years ago.  Superior rackets by far.

Comments: Plays like a dream. I've played with a lot of gearbox racquets, specifically the Solid 1.0 series and I must say this one tops them all. The 165 Orange offers such great speed and power. It's pretty similar to the Solid series but the frame feels so much more comfortable. If you're looking for a new frame that specializes in front court play, look no further. I may buy two...

Comments: Like the other models I have mostly noticed they have a different paint job and not much difference in technology. They work best with Ashaway and reduce vibration.
