Overview

Gamma's Live Wire XP strings have long been known for their big comfort and easy power. With Ocho XP 16, Gamma moves the needle by adding a little spin to the equation. Boasting 8 grippy edges, this groundbreaking multifilament puts a extra grip on the ball, making it easier for the player to generate ball rotation. Doubles players looking for great feel around the net should like this one. Although seasoned polyester users will likely find Ocho too powerful for their explosive topspin mechanics, this string makes a very nice hybrid cross. All in all, this is a great option for any player who values comfort and power.

Previous Feedback

Comments: I tried this string in my Blade 104 v7 at 55.5 pounds, full bed. I was very happy with the power, feel, and control I had. There was no string movement after hitting shots. I am happy I tried this string again.

Comments: I found this string to be very easy to use. I am not sure it generated any more spin for me since I hit with a continental grip. I was able to feel a difference in volleys and my serve had more pop than using a co-poly.

Comments: Strings lasted 2 hours on clay, then I broke 3 strings on a serve. I play with a Volkl OS Organix 1, and I hit medium-hard with a good bit of spin. The worst durability I have ever seen in a string for my play.
