Durability, power, and hot new graphics will help you achieve your MAX potential! The Gearbox MAX2 165Q racquet features an all new Material Response System (M.R.S.) which maximizes the frame's response by adjusting the ratio of High Modulus Graphite and Higher Impact Resistant Graphite.  Weighing in around 17 grams heavier than it's MAX1 Magenta predecessor, this MAX2 165Q Purple is slightly less maneuverable (because of an increased swingweight) but is more powerful due to a 8 point head-heavy balance.  Overall, this new design includes improved torsional stiffness, more power, and continues the tradition of durable frames that Gearbox is known for.

All racquets come factory strung with a wrist cord installed. Click the Specs tab for more details.

Comments: I'm using Max1 170. I tried Max2 170 and this purple 165. Big difference between Max1 170 and Max2 170. So Max2 170 is out of picture, bit too heavy. But there is slice difference between 170 Max1 and 165 Max2. I mixed Max1 170 and Max2 165 and pick one with blindfold. The one I felt heavier is Max2 165. Performance wise Max1 170 swing around in smoother motion and Max2 is bit stiff. But won't feel after getting use to Max2. I love the purple color though. Don't mind having both. Good racquets!
